Scheduling a maternity session is all about finding the sweet spot between the arrival of your baby bump and possible early arrival. With that in mind, I recommend inquiring about your session around week 12 and scheduling the appointment between the 28th and 32nd weeks.
I recommend photographing your newborn within the first two weeks of arrival to capture your little one's earliest days. But I know babies rarely arrive precisely on schedule! That’s why we keep things flexible. Simply inquire with me during your second trimester, and we’ll set a tentative date and time for your session. Then, if we need to adjust to fit a late or early birth, we can!
Absolutely! In fact, I encourage it! Those tender interactions between new siblings are moments you’ll want to return to over and over again. So, while we’ll keep the majority of the attention on your newest family member, we’ll save ample time for those cozy images of the whole family.
I’m thrilled to provide a curated client closet in a wide range of sizes and styles to make dressing for your session a breeze! But if you’d like to wear something of your own or shop for a new look, I’m more than happy to offer advice and guidance before your session day.
How many images you leave with is entirely up to you! This way, you only pay for your absolute favorites. At your in-person gallery reveal, you’ll choose the images you love most, and I’ll send you home with the digital files of each image. But because I believe physical heirlooms are essential to family legacy, I also order a physical print of each image you choose and offer a wide range of print, canvas, and album options!
